  1. ak Said,

Ordered this product and paid the appropriate shipping in order for it to be delivered in time for Christmas. Delivery was scheduled for two days ago, and it still has not arrived. In fact, when I checked tracking, it showed that the product originated in Kentucky and is currently in California. I’m in ILLINOIS. I see no way possible for this to travel 2,000 miles overnight and make it in time for Christmas. I am very disappointed. I would have selected a different product/different distributor had I known. I am expecting to be compensated for my shipping charges.

  2. Denise H Said,

I purchased this bluetooth as recommendation from my wireless carrier. it worked for 5 months fine, then people starting complaining they can’t hear me. with fully charge still would not work. my carrier charged me $100 for the item. Clearly overpriced for an item that does not even last for 5 months. Now i have to locate my receipt and get replacement from Motorola since it is still under warranty. I would not buy this product again. for $100 the product should last 5 years not not 5 months. Horrible purchase and horrible service in order to get it replaced! i wont buy motorola products again.

  3. Milton E. Olin Said,

I bought this device b/c I find that the “folding” feature of the prior 700 was great for knowing that you’ve turned on,or off, the device. (A problem with a lot of other headsets.) And b/c I thought that I’d be able to use the same USB charger as my Blackberry. But, as it turns out, the charger “input” for the 710 is a little bit different. Different enough so that you’ve got to use a different charger. Now, who wants to have to carry around another charger – and also find that you can’t use the same car charger for the headset as you do for your phone. All in all, a stoopid design flaw in this headset. After I got it and found this out, I went to my local Fry’s and bought the very last 700 series that was available.

As to the quality of the “sound”, again, this headset is not as good as the 700 that it replaced. Folks were always saying, “I can’t hear you.”

All I can say is I think this one is a real pass.

  5. L. Shoff Said,

I got this in the hopes that it would work better than my old H500, but from the time I’ve had it, it does not seem to do so.

It doesn’t pick up my voice dials as well as the old.

I do like that fact that you turn the device on by opening it up, there are no questions whether it is on or not, that is an improvement over the H500. It has a lovely Hi tech sound when it starts up, and if you quickly get it into your ear, you can hear it.

It doesn’t seem to me to have as good a reception as the old H500, and that is why I bought it, in hopes it was better, but for the money, I haven’t seen it yet…
