This necklace is very petite in all ways. The pearl is small, the chain is very delicate and relatively short. However, I don’t think any of these points are relevant for taking away stars in reviewing the item since Amazon is upfront about the measurements of the necklace. I think this small necklace is well worth the roughly $30 that I paid for it, but certainly not the $100 “list price”. I like it and I think it will become an everyday piece for me because it’s small enough to work well with lots of outfits from casual to dressy. I’d recommend getting it for yourself or as a gift. Although the chain is very delicate, as other reviewers have mentioned, I must add that I’ve owned another version of this same necklace (the white gold version) with the same super-thin chain and I’ve worn it for about 5 years off and on without it breaking. This simple necklace is not going to “wow” anyone due it’s diminutive size, but it does add a nice little touch of elegance.
*Please note: I would probably recommend purchasing a nicer gift box for this necklace if you are giving it as a gift because it comes in a relatively cheap-looking pouch and cardboard box as delivered.

This necklace was not worth buying. The chain looked cheap and the way the pearl was mounted was not attractive. I returned it.

This is a very nice piece of jewelery. Simple and elegant. The chain is a little bit shorter than I would have liked, although it is the 18″ as advertised.

I bought 3 total of these for 3 young adult women. When I received my first one, I was amazed at how small they were. Delicate is at times elegant, but these are for children. I just hope the chains on them last through the Christmas holiday.
If you order them, get them for children. They are sweet, but by no means for adult women.
